You know what is perhaps even more fucked up than the news in this article? The final paragraph of the article reads "Police were investigating how Veal entered the fenced and guarded site of the twin towers which collapsed after hijacked aircraft slammed into them September 11, 2001."
Oh yeh...I forgot about the fact that the twin towers collapsed. Oh...and on September 11, I knew that date rang-a-bell. What a bizarre way to end an article.
Speaking of bizarre ways to end articles, or in this case, a reponse to a blog: did you know that Charles Robert Darwin's (of "On the Origin of Species" 1860ish fame) mother was the daughter of Josia Wedgewood (of pottery fame)?
I can appreciate what you are saying and I agree suicide is selfish I just feel awful that someone could be effected so badly by the fucked up state of the world at the moment.
To call the man a coward is a bit of a lack of understanding of mental illness and mental pressures. Be less judgemental of those that fall down. Mental collapse is no different to physical collapse, and it's unlikely that you would criticise someone as a coward if they developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or some other physical collapse.
Way to stand up for us chemically imbalanced chicks and dudes. But couldn't the man have splurged on a bus ticket to D.C. and tried to solve the Bush problem once and for all. If you're gonna kill yourself, why not be famous.
I'm personally still in shock over the election. 4 more years of Bush my brain can't grasp that so many people are fine with a stupid, cowardly manchild being in charge of the Most Powerful Nation (until the Chinese take over) on earth. I want to see what Kerry's grades at Yale were compared to those of George.

Love how the reporter tries to implicate the man by saying he lead a "double life".... how is that relevant?
I want to be a journalist so that I can write shit for a living. At the moment I just write shit for nothing! :)
